LTT-1 Spain: Listen to the Water

From March 6-10, 2023, the “LISTEN TO THE WATER” event unfolded in Úbeda, Spain, hosted by Colegio Santo Domingo Savio School. This five-day transnational learning activity drew students and teachers from our partner countries to delve into the project’s outcomes and foster deeper connections with the theme of water conservation and awareness.

Throughout the week, participants engaged in a blend of structured and spontaneous activities designed to enhance their understanding and skills. A significant highlight was the workshop on creative writing, where students harnessed their newfound abilities to articulate their perspectives on water-related issues. Moreover, they had the opportunity to interact with the E-Books produced through Developmental Bibliotherapy, providing feedback and insights on these innovative educational tools.

The warmth of the host students and their families added a rich cultural dimension to the event. Through various cultural and educational workshops, everyone gained a more intimate appreciation of Spanish heritage, further enriched by excursions to the majestic Al-Hambra Palace and the historical treasures of Úbeda.

This event was not just an educational milestone but a vibrant celebration of cultural exchange and shared commitment to environmental stewardship.
